Cardamom and Cinnamon Black Tea
Cardamom and Cinnamon Black Tea recipe:
2 Tbs of black tea
6 cardamom pods
1 cinnamon stick
About 6 cups of water (more or less depending if you like your black tea strong or light)
To serve the tea: honey or sugar to taste, milk (optional), lemon juice (optional)
Here is how to make cardamom and cinnamon black tea:
Rinse a teapot with boiling water.
Boil the 6 cups of water in a pan.
In the rinsed teapot, put the black tea leaves, the cardamom pods and the cinnamon stick.
Pour the boiled water over the black tea, cardamom and cinnamon. Put the lid on the teapot and let the tea steep for about 5 minutes.
Add sugar or honey to taste, a little lemon juice if you like. You can also add a little milk if you like.
Serve this cardamom and cinnamon tea with middle eastern pastries and cookies.
